let's get to know each other
I'll go first...
My name is Alexandra Wiseman and I have been working in the world of mental health in a variety of capacities for the past decade. I grew up in LaSalle, ON just across the river from Detroit, MI. I have played or coached female sports since age six and continue to coach varsity softball at St. Clair College today. Additionally, I am a Wen-Do Women's Self Defence Instructor. I love dogs, nature, being active, travelling, and music.

I graduated from the University of Windsor with a Bachelor and Master of Human Kinetics in addition to a Bachelor of Education which provided me with certification to teach from grades 7 through to 12. The cherry on top was my Master of Social Work from Wayne State University which has brought my passion for mental health to the forefront of the life I continue to build for myself. I have a unique outlook on the mind-body connection and offer an approach that encompasses this relationship.

I have a combination of lived experience, professional training, and heartfelt passion to help others on their healing journey. I believe that any amount of self-work, therapy included, is a great way to exercise self-care. We all deserve to be seen, heard, and valued; let's start by creating that awareness within ourselves.

Lastly, I have a rescue dog named Zeus who is a husky/shepherd/boxer mix. You'll see him here and there on the website and on my socials.
